The Awakening

Every great pursuit begins with an unexpected fascination. What started as a sudden, intense curiosity about the profound connection between nature, agriculture, and wellness quickly turned into a life changing obsession with apiculture.

Determined to learn the craft the right way, I sought the mentorship of an experienced local beekeeper. Under their guidance, I immersed myself in the delicate science of the hive, learning the rhythm of the bees and the vital importance of ethical, low intervention farming.

Four Hives in St. Mary

Driven by this newfound passion, I took a leap of faith. I purchased my very first four hives and carefully transported them to a pristine plot of family land nestled high in the lush, unpolluted hills of St. Mary.

Surrounded by diverse, pesticide free tropical blooms, the bees thrived. For the past two years, I have poured my heart into these hives, cultivating a deep respect for the raw honey they produce. Every frame harvested represents the pure, unfiltered essence of the Jamaican landscape.

As the apiary blossomed, my vision evolved beyond the harvest itself. I knew that the exceptional quality of this single origin honey deserved a presentation that matched its flavor.

I set out to bridge the gap between rustic agriculture and modern elegance. By combining my passion for beautiful packaging, honest marketing, and premium design, Hey Hon was born. Today, my mission is to deliver an exquisite honey experience straight from our family's hills to your table, completely raw, and exactly as nature intended.
